What happens when a fine artist is also an innovative landscape designer and builder?

Owner Stan Sperlak studied both Landscape Architecture/Ornamental Horticulture at Cumberland College in New Jersey and Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.

Owner Stan Sperlak studied both Landscape Architecture/Ornamental Horticulture at Cumberland College in New Jersey and Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
Stan is now a regionally known painter of the South Jersey scenes and a sought after designer for projects ranging from "simple healing gardens" to total renovations of historic building grounds. From inland shade and woodland landscapes to beachfront construction, Cape Shore Gardens is more interested in the quality and long term satisfaction of the client versus the quick profit.

Cape Shore also specializes in native and wetland plants and is very involved with obtaining plants that are attractive to birds, butterflies, reptiles, insects and mammals, Their staff has become advisors to many of the local environmental commissions, civic groups, conservation organizations and Shade Tree Programs. There will always be a "right plant for the right place" when you work with Cape Shore.

Taking advantage of that, we are well known for our new species introductions and strong, colorful, interesting  plant combinations. We also lead the industry in the use of native plants and natural designs, creating a source of enjoyment for the homeowner and our wildlife.
