What happens when a fine artist is also an innovative landscape designer and builder?
On these pages we hope to answer that and show you how important it is to choose the right company to handle the serious work of creating your gardens. Owner Stan Sperlak studied both Landscape Architecture/Ornamental Horticulture at Cumberland College in New Jersey and Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
Stan is now a regionally known painter of the South Jersey scenes and a sought after designer for projects ranging from "simple healing gardens" to total renovations of historic building grounds. From inland shade and woodland landscapes to beachfront construction, Cape Shore Gardens is more interested in the quality and long term satisfaction of the client versus the quick profit.
Cape Shore also specializes in native and wetland plants and is very involved with obtaining plants that are attractive to birds, butterflies, reptiles, insects and mammals, Their staff has become advisors to many of the local environmental commissions, civic groups, conservation organizations and Shade Tree Programs. There will always be a "right plant for the right place" when you work with Cape Shore.
Cape Shore Gardens has been building landscapes since 1980. Our reputation for quality and dependability has enabled us to create some of the finest gardens in the area. We are able to offer our customers original and exciting landscape solutions with friendly, personal attention. It is our goal to provide these services at the most reasonable prices.
Whether it is a single shade tree, a screen planting along the backyard or a fully realized landscape, we will offer only the best materials and the right species to suit your needs and preferences.
Our peninsula has a unique climate and a special personality. The long growing season and mild winters allow a wider variety of plants than just 40 miles to the north. Taking advantage of that, we are well known for our new species introductions and strong, colorful, interesting plant combinations. We also lead the industry in the use of native plants and natural designs, creating a source of enjoyment for the homeowner and our wildlife.
